My take on tech

I’ve always enjoyed playing with tech things. In my teens I built electronic gadgets, but the joy was in the building, not the use of the finished item. My professional life has been tech, working first with hardware then software.

The aha moment was making tech do what others - mostly customers - want. That gave it a purpose, which was perhaps lacking in those early electronic projects.

So I have Unifi wifi, Wiim home music, firewall, server, MacBook, Linux PC, Android phone, mics, mixers, remote temperature sensors connected by Bluetooth and - well, you get the picture.

A space here for some of my tech ramblings.
